The WMAIA website will publish classified ads for job postings and for architects and allied professionals seeking jobs. This service is free of charge to members and member firms.

PLEASE NOTE:  In order to ensure that our Classifieds page is up to date, ads will be removed upon request from the posting member/firm, OR every 3 months – whichever comes first. If you’d like your ad to remain on the site for more than 3 months, please contact us prior to the end of each yearly quarter (end of March, June, September, December).

Ads must be a MAXIMUM of 150 words per position sought or offered. If your ad is more than 150 words the WMAIA reserves the right to shorten it. Please include preferred method of contact, and contact information. We will post ads within 3 days of receipt.

SENIOR CAPITAL PROJECTS MANAGER
Amherst College, Amherst, MA
Senior Capital Projects Manager will assume leadership of project management for large and/or complex capital projects with significant levels of autonomy. Responsible from project initiation through completion of construction/occupancy. Serve as primary project liaison for College administration and with all stake-holders on campus. Primary representative for the college with designers, consultants, vendors, contractors, legal counsel, accountants and local/state officials. Manage contractual term negotiation process, construction bidding process, and ensure performance of contractors and consultants. Negotiate change orders, monitor implications with project schedule, and manage consultants’ construction administration process for compliance with contract specifications and project close-out process.
Required:
• Bachelor degree in A/E/C area
• 10 years minimum experience managing building capital projects
• 3 years minimum experience managing large and/or complex building capital projects
Preferred:
• Masters degree in A/E/C area; project management certificate; building efficiency related certification
• Project management experience as owner’s representative role
• Experience in higher education projects
