BG is an independent publishing company committed to bringing their members accurate, unbiased, and timely green design information. BuildingGreen offers research, thought, and writing through many publications, including Environmental Building News, the GreenSpec directory of green products, and the BuildingGreen Suite of online tools.


AIA Sustainable Design Assessment Team (SDAT)
AIA SDAT Program: The SDAT program is an AIA-sponsored community assistance program that focuses on the principles of sustainability. SDATs bring teams of volunteer professionals (such as architects, urban designers, landscape architects, planners, hydrologists, economists, attorneys, and others) to work with community decision-makers and stakeholders to help them develop a vision and framework for a sustainable future.

CET logo
The Center for Ecological Technology (CET) is a 30+ year old community based non-profit offering green building services that include third party certification for LEED homes and ENERGY STAR homes. CET provides affordable tools and services for homes, businesses, and communities in the area of energy efficiency, renewable energy, waste reduction/recycling, and environmental education.

NESEA is the Northeast's leading member organization of professionals working in sustainable energy, whole systems thinking, and clean technology. Or, as one member puts it, NESEA is "where all the really great geeks are."
