Mark Newey Managing Principal of Airtight Energy Consulting will provide an overview of Massachusetts’ new energy codes. Mark will provide insight, helping Massachusetts firms navigate the new codes implemented over the last year. This will be an interactive program in which participants will be able to discuss the challenges they face implementing the new energy code during the half an hour discussion at the end of the presentation. Mark Newey has nearly 25 years experience working to make buildings more energy efficient, including 17 years at the Center for EcoTechnology (CET). He holds certifications as a HERS Rater, Certified Passive House Consultant (CPHC), Passive House Rater and Verifier, LEED AP Homes, and LEED Green Rater. Mark holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State University and has a minor in Engineering Leadership Development.
