100 Women Architects in the Office of Frank Lloyd Wright
It was uncovered during the Guggenheim’s 50th anniversary celebration that 100 women worked with Wright during his career: Who were these women?
At a time when women architects could find little work, Frank Lloyd Wright unhesitatingly employed women, providing them with both training and practice. Ultimately, over 100 women architects, designers and artisans worked with Wright, creating the foundation for remarkable careers of their own. The film features the work and words of architects Marion Mahony, Isabel Roberts, Jane Duncombe, Lois Davidson Gottlieb, Eleanore Petersen, and Read Weber.
